You that mock me;
Spoke in tongues not known to me.
You that watched me carry a heavy load when part of it was yours and others.
You that saw me sweat.
It was all me.

You that wonders;
Always going somewhere
Sometimes oblivious of the goings on of others
Doing your own thing in your environment
I sometimes wonder who you answer to
It seems you please yourself and maintain an air of invincibility
And yet very gracious and smooth

The Fruit
As I sit here eating this rather delicious fruit with it's tropical flavour;
One can not help but feel Yes
This fruit, this produce, this banana grown by the Caribbean continent in great hardship with expectations of fair play.
But No.
This Fruit, and others like, are used to suppress, to slow down,
sometimes even to break a nation,
A continent; A people.
So I eat you knowing your worth. 06/06/2001

This Day
A day for all to search their conscience;
To decide whether they want social justice for all.
Starting from the bottom.
To raise heads and dreams.
A day which many have paid the ultimate price for.
So it is,
I shall make my mark for all the hopes and dreams of the young and old
And maybe somewhere along the line

The Vanity
How often we seek to have the latest items?
The most fashionable garments that complement the shape and structure of our body
With a hint of desire in our expression. What a price?
What heart ache?
What expense?
What a waste of time?
As we are all born naked with no positions what so ever.
What is inside and the body to carry us and yet everybody is loved unconditionally.
Be true to yourself.
